Last, since I've done many experiments, I may need to already reapply thermal paste (though it wouldn't prevent the PC from booting?).

Of course, the CPU can be faulty as well, but I'm more likely the culprit I guess (and I don't know how to test it alone). Reading the Internet, I also checked the CPU (the pins look ok), the PSU to the mobo, a CMOS clear. Then the 2 top AIO fans have an adapter to only have 1 4-pin that I tried to plug either in the top next to the pump one on a fan spot, or in the bottom on a pump spot (which looks quite low for the pump wire itself, but they're all the same anyway?). From the pump, I have 1 Y-cable with a 3-pin side (that I put on a 4-pin on the mobo), and a PSU one that I linked to it.

I suspect I screwed a wire up with the AIO (the Corsair manual is minimalistic~). I ordered the retrofit kit from Corsair (the screws have the same length on both side for me), but after changing them in the PC, no change: red led. While assembling, I realized the AIO actually needed other screws to fit the LGA1700 motherboard. Asus Motherboard Red LightGot everything plugged in and fixed up but when I power on the CPU LED is solid red. Question So, the Motherboard is broken? No boot, No display.I received my new PC, I assembled everything, but couldn't boot it: there's a red CPU led on the motherboard.

Question MSI X670-P PRO WiFi ATX Motherboard takes 35 seconds to boot up. Question Picking the right motherboard (Maybe Sonic?) Question I changed my motherboard, now my game performance is awful. Question Will my motherboard support ddr3 1600? Question What tests should I do to the motherboard if the power supply damaged my CPU and GPU? If you would kindly answer these questions Id be happy to help maybe its overheating so the CPU is shutting itself off to protect itself. If you can, turn the computer on, and do some stress testing and keep an eye on the temps. possible one of your rails isn't work correctly, what size PSU do you have, what brand? Sounds like a power supply problem to me. Would you kindly let us know what your system is? Is it possible the PSU is faulty and isn't supplying about voltage to the CPU for it to pass the system check when the system is started? Or would it be the motherboard possibly failing to check the CPU properly? I have a brand name and good quality power supply. My CPU temperatures are fine and nothing has changed inside the system itself. I don't understand how the system runs fine but if it's powered off, it fails the CPU check. So with all of that, does it seem like I have a problem with the CPU, the motherboard or the power supply? Tonight, I decided to play a game and once it started, the PC powered off and the red CPU LED came on. I waited another hour and it powered back on and started working again with no problems. I had to shut my PC down again later on and when turning it back, once again, the red CPU LED lit up. Eventually after letting it sit for about an hour, the computer powered on and started working without any problems. I had attempted to clear the CMOS and powered the system on and off multiple times but the LED stayed on. The system powered on and the fans spin up but the CPU LED showed red. If you are able to load into windows, you can check the CPU temperature using the E-Leet tool. 1st it can indicate the CPU is overheating. A blinking red light near the CPU on the motherboard can indicate 2 things. The problem started after powering off my system and rebooting. In other words, the 24-pin motherboard and the 4/8 CPU power cables must remain connected. I've had my system for over a year and have had no problems out of it. I'm having a problem where my ASUS motherboard is showing a red light on the CPU LED.
